“Equality means that everyone is treated fairly and given the same opportunities, rights, and respect, regardless of their gender, race, age, or background.”
Last month, we were honoured to participate in a workshop hosted by the German Embassy Freetown, Sierra Leone at the residence of the German Ambassador on Leicester Peak. This gathering brought together Sierra Leonean #NGOs supported by the German Government to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
It was a fantastic platform to connect with new organisations, strengthen existing partnerships, and engage with like-minded individuals committed to driving positive change.
A highlight of the event was our incredible facilitators, Adama Bockarie and Sahr Makieu, who presented an insightful case study on designing impactful #HumanRights projects. With gratitude, we listened to the words of Christoph Retzlaff, the Director of Sub-Sahara Africa from the ‘GermanFederalForeignOffice, and the presentation of Joseph Ayamga from SEND Sierra Leone , sharing their wonderful work and stories.
We are deeply grateful to the German Government and the Embassy in Freetown for their unwavering support in our shared mission to create a more just and equitable #Salone for all genders and sexes.
Here’s to more impactful collaborations in 2025!
