Promoting Gender Equality and Women’s Rights in Sierra Leone!
Sonkegenderjustice representatives, Josephine and Blessing, joined the MenEngage Sierra Leone Network AGM on November 8, 2024, at CCSL Hall, Freetown. With representatives from 21 organizations, the AGM focused on gender equality, reducing intimate partner violence, and fostering peace in families and communities.
Discussions highlighted capacity building, compliance, transparency, and organizational mapping, with valuable insights from the delegates. Before the AGM, they spent two days engaging partner organizations, steering committee members, and youth wings to strengthen collaboration and network strategies.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment to building a more peaceful and equitable Sierra Leone.
