Last week, our facilitation team was back in the field. This time they engaged sixteen schools across our operational areas in six districts: Moyamba, Pujehun, Kailahun, Kono, Kambia, and Western Urban.
Our focus? Empowering the future generation with essential knowledge on privileges and restrictions at different life stages through our School Gender Clubs training.
We aim to deepen children’s understanding of gender-related issues and foster strategies for promoting equality and inclusivity within their schools and communities.
We firmly believe in the adage, “Catch them young,” as it is better to equip children with the tools for understanding gender equality, equity and inclusivity early on than to mend societal norms later.
