MAGE-SL Honoured for Humanitarian Efforts and Sustainable Development
The Men’s Association for Gender Equality – Sierra Leone (MAGE-SL) is proud to announce that we have been recognised by the African CEO Media Cooperation for our outstanding humanitarian work and commitment to sustainable development in Sierra Leone.
The award, presented at a distinguished ceremony held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Freetown, brought together changemakers and leaders from across the African continent. The event celebrated organisations that demonstrate exceptional dedication to social progress, inclusion, and long-term impact.
A Recognition of Collective Effort
This award honours the tireless dedication of MAGE-SL’s facilitators, staff, partners, and community networks. Their consistent engagement at the grassroots level continues to transform lives, challenge inequality, and promote peace and justice throughout Sierra Leone.
For over two decades, MAGE-SL has been at the forefront of advancing gender equality, human rights, and transformative masculinity—empowering men and women alike to contribute to a more just and equitable society.
Renewed Commitment to Change
Receiving this recognition reinforces our determination to continue promoting inclusive and sustainable development, ensuring that women, girls, and marginalised communities have equal opportunities to thrive.
We extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who supports our mission—our donors, partners, and the communities that trust and work with us every day. Together, we are shaping a Sierra Leone where every voice counts.
